Although there are many audible grumblings from all sides every time the President talks about the economic gains made since he took office, they are real and his administration deserves real credit. Working families are still struggling, wages are stagnant at best, and a 5.9% unemployment rate is not the whole story, but things are certainly getting better in many ways.
